TOP 1 – The Garden Hotel Guangzhou

Editor rate (per night): From RMB928

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

nice rooms, nice bathrooms, nice facilities, good food, good location, good room service, NICE GARDEN with waterfalls! nothing to complain really. A very good Hotel. Except the friendlyness of the staff. Not that they were unfriendly. But, why do I always have the impression of them doing the job just at a minimum level of participation and commitment… that is really annoying. But that is a problem all over China…

TOP 2 – Soluxe Hotel Guangzhou

Editor rate (per night): From RMB780

Editor score: 4.6 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Overall well worth the money. I stayed in the basic room, a grand king size bed, huge room, fantastic bathroom , shower, tub are nice in the bathroom, great view. Even local taxi didn’t know the place. Breakfast was excellent, mainly serving good western food, if provided some local specialties as well.

TOP 3 – Oriental Resort Guangzhou

Editor rate (per night): From RMB302

Editor score: 4.0 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The environment is excellent for leisure seekers and the service is great too. Nice surrounding and quiet environment. A perfect place for relaxation. The only drawback was the service staff responded slow to our calling needs. And it is hard to catch a taxi, the hotel’s facilities are a bit old.

TOP 4 – White Swan Hotel

Editor rate (per night): In the decoration process

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The waterfall in the hotel is beautiful, the hotel located in Shamian island, it is a nice place for relaxing in the leisure time. I stayed in White Swan hotel in the past quite a few times but this time the rooms are really old and don’t have the 5 star hotel luxury.. they need renovation asap. But the staff service was excellent.

TOP 5 – Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich

Editor rate (per night): From RMB 1050

Editor score: 4.3 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The lobby’s painting is special, it is a french and luxurious style, great decoration in the room, the taxi driver not easy to find out where it is, the price is expensive, and some of the staff’s service is not efficiency.

TOP 6 – Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Guangzhou

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2400

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Everything is beautiful and rooms are fantastic, nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi to be enjoyed, I really like the gym. Great , huge, comfy deluxe room! fancy decord. spacious open closet. the complimentary coffee powders in room are the best and most reccommended ! the hotel also has some nice restaurants and bar to be enjoyed! But the taxi drivers are not easy to find out where it is, the location are not quite convenience and not close to Metro station.

TOP 7 – China Hotel, A Marriott Hotel

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1050

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Good and bad. Location was OK, next to subway and convention center. But not really downtown near anything walking distance. Room was AWESOME. Brand new renovated, two large Queen Size beds. Huge shower area, though it was weird how the tub was there too I thought…Service was OK, not bad, but nothing overly nice or special.

TOP 8 – Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1288

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

It is the closest hotel near the Canton Fair. The service was excellent and efficiency. The lobby is fantastic and big, when you walk in, it has special aroma rush into your nose. The rooms are also big and comfortable. But the location is not quite convenient, does not has shopping center or restaurants in around.

TOP 9 – Royal Mediterranean Hotel Guangzhou

Editor rate (per night): From RMB 537

Editor score: 4.2 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The rooms are good, big, clean. Location not bad, but close to downtown. Room was over-spacious for a single person, service was great too. The same with the transportation, with pretty choices to get here. Has a wonderfull sauna open 24 hours. Only the problem is high price. Really too expensive.

TOP 10 – The Westin Pazhou

Editor rate (per night): From RMB988

Editor score: 4.3 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Everything is fresh, nice hotel, shining lobby, it is too luxurious, the view to look out from the room is amazing, the staff’s service is nice. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was in good condition too. Unfortunately, the spa and the swimming pool are still not available now, and the location is not too convenience for the customers.

TOP 1 – Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

Editor rate (per night): From RMB 4133.

Editor score: 4.8 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The location is very good and convenience. The bathroom offers l’Occitane toiletries, FUJI water. The view from the room is pretty nice. The hotel very look after the customers, always know the customer’s needs, it is an excellent hotel to choose in Hong Kong. Everything is perfect, but the price is expensive.

TOP 2 – Island Shangri-La

Editor rate (per night): From RMB3869

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

It is a great hotel with good management; Every luxury here is truly upscale, the rooms are bigger and nicer, the staff excellent and the food amazing. The facilities are good enough. But the hotel is a little bit old now, the harbour view floor has been renovating. It has noise at night. Some of the staff not polite to the Chinese customers.

TOP 3 – The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong

Editor rate (per night): From RMB3260.

Editor score: 4.6 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best).

It is a nice beautiful hotel, it can see the victoria harbour view from the room. The 118 floor’s swimming pool is impressed. The environment is good and the pick up service from the airport is efficiency. But the check in service can be more efficiency.

TOP 4 – Peninsula Hotel

Editor rate (per night): From RMB3162.

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

It is a top notch five star with all the luxuries, it make comforts and provide great food for you. It offers Rolls Royce airport transfer, it won’t cost you anything but you get to roll up to the hotel in style. Excellent service and facilities are well. But the strange rule is: customers must always wear formal clothing to enjoy everything in the hotel. The bed is small, the air-condition is old so that it has strange sounds comes out.

TOP 5 – Hotel LKF by Rhombus (Lan Kwai Fong)

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2770.

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best).

It is the hotel that located in the night life place you can have fun at night, modern style in the hotel. The hotel’s staff are qualified and efficiency. Very easy to look for restaurants and shopping places. But it is noisy at night, becuase it is full of night life at downstairs.

TOP 6 – JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2702.

Editor score: 4.8 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best).

It is a very luxury hotel with excellent and warmly services that you cannot expect it. It can either see mountail view or harbour view from the rooms. Metro station just close by. But the rooms and the bathroms are small; some of the room’s television is in the wrong place; the bed is not quite comfortable.

TOP 7 – InterContinental Hong Kong

Editor rate (per night): RMB2522.

Editor score: 4.6 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best).

It is an excellent hotel that can see the excellent harbour view. Excellent service and the hotel’s restaurant’s food is very nice but a bit expensive, but it will be special that you cannot forget about it. All of the facilities are good. But it needs to think about upgrades of the hardware rather sooner than later.

TOP 8 – W Hong Kong

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2336.

Editor score: 4.6 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best).

Targets on younger people who appreciate modern design. The lobby is comfortable and has a welcoming atmosphere. the bed is extremely comfortable. The bathroom is well designed as well and has all the amenities you would expect in there. These features aside, the favorite is the sliding mirror that curtained the hidden HDTV. Two words come to mind when I look back at this room and they are: HIGH TECH! But the hotel facilities are not quite enough; The television can be more bigger. The lobby is not big.

TOP 9 – The Langham Hong Kong

Editor rate (per night): From RMB 2079.

Editor score: 4.6 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best).

Good location with many of shopping centre in around. The staff’s service is good and efficiency. The swimming pool is the great point. Metro station and ferry station in around. The restaurant’s dishes are impressed and unforgetable. But the price is expensive, the lobby is not big and not quite luxury.

TOP 10- Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2068.

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best).

The location of hotel is really good. The housekeeping is excellent. It’s located in the middle of the famous Tsim Sha Tsui shopping center. The bed is comfortable and it offers a selection of pillows that can use which help customers get some great sleep. But the price is getting more expensive in every year, the check in service can be more efficiency.

TOP 1 – Park Hyatt Beijing

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2800

Editor score: 4.8 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Staff are quite nice and considerate, rooms and the hotel are clean, well-equipped, subway station located right under the building. A fully electronically integrated room that is all handled by a control panel (very high-tech), fruits are very fresh, But taxi drivers are not easy to find out where is the hotel and the price is a bit expensive.

TOP 2 – The Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2355

Editor score: 4.8 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The Chinese-Western interior decoration to be very tasteful and pleasant; Service is impeccable; the Chinese restaurant is excellent, you can sample dishes from all over China and it everything felt authentic and quality. The Italian restaurant is also very good, especially for brunch. But the hotel’s kingsize bed rooms do not have enough to offer for customers; Not easy to find out where is the hotel entrance; the hotel’s feeling is more like business style, not quite good for holiday escape.

TOP 3 – The Opposite House

Editor rate (per night): From RMB2300

Editor score: 4.4 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The top boutique hotel in Beijing right now. This place is great for so many reasons. The staff are super accommodating and relaxed, breakfasts are crazy good and you can ask the chefs at the various stations for almost anything you want. Rooms are incredibly cozy, bathrooms attractively designed but functional in the extreme (the baths are super). But the services of the staff can improved more. The bars beside the hotel has a bit noise at night, and the sofa in the room is a bit hard.

TOP 4 – Shangri-La’s Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1466

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Rooms are spacious & clean. The Staff are really helpful & most of them can speak good english. The facilities are well-appointed, it is also very convenient to take the transportation. All kinds of food street and restaurantes in around. But the hotel still has been renovated; some of the staff not polite to the Chinese customers; the rooms are not big enough, all kinds of service can be improved.

TOP 5 – China World Hotel Beijing

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1462

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Good location, not far from the airport, handy facilities, considerate service. Room is spacious and fully equipped. Close to Metro station. The restaurant’s dishes are delicious. The facilities are quite new. But the rooms are not too big but the price are a little bit expensive.

TOP 6 – Hilton Beijing Wangfujing

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1435

Editor score: 4.6 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The location is nice, walking distance to Tian’an Square and Forbidden city. The bathroom in the room is big, it has bathtub and shower room in it. The bed is comfortable. The staff are polite. But it has some smells left behind after the renovation. It has noise at night. The lobby is not big.

TOP 7 – Intercontinental Beijing Financial Street

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1342

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The front desk is quite helpful; everything in the hotel is extremely well managed and predictable; rooms are spacious and comfortable. The environment is nice and it is close the Metro Line 2 station. But not many food street in around; some of the staff not quite polite to the Chinese customers. The hotel lobby is not too big. The housekeeping service is late to arrange for it.

TOP 8 – Raffles Beijing Hotel

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1118

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

It is simply very nice, every thing is perfect from service to location, all of the staff are kindness. The twins beds are big and very very comfortable. The breakfast is very good. Location is unbeatable. You can walk to Tian-An-Men square. Subway station is 2-minute walk. Shopping area and malls are right around the corner. But there has no heater in the rooms; it is hard to catch a taxi; the bell boy not helpful sometimes, needs more actively. It does not provide enough bathroom commodities sometimes.

TOP 9 – Grand Millennium Beijing

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1160

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

It is a great hotel with high quality, great location, great buffet, great swimming pool, also it provides excellent service , staff speak English fluently , very fast check in and check out services; close to Metro station Line 10. But the price is a bit expensive, not easy to catch a taxi. It has another building just beside the hotel has been renovating, so that it has noise at night. Not many shopping centre or restaurants in around.

TOP 10 – Sofitel Wanda Beijing

Editor rate (per night): From RMB1059

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The hotel is French style, it has a great view of Guomao, a soft bed, and a relaxing bathtub; very convenient for shopping around and the hotel location is pretty good. The bathroom commodity is L’occitane. But the room’s facility especially in the bathroom needs to be fixed. Some of the bath towels has hairs on it.

TOP 1 – Mandarin Oriental Macau

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB2273

Editor score: 4.3 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

From Hong Kong was a small out of the hotel, to stay in this hotel Macau, the mood is really pretty ~ ~ ~ great luxury, noble class enjoy ~ ~ ~ Hotel opposite the Ma Bridge as it is praise ~ ~ Location The following is the One Square (where all the big names are oh) next to the MGM, opposite the Wynn. A look at the hotel is new, very modern facilities. If you IPHONE users simply do not come here with a charger, the rooms have a special FOR IPHONE charging settings, and TV connection, you can directly put something inside your IPHONE it. Hotel is not CASINO, if you want to play, then you can go to MGM, and from the following string of Square One in the past on it, do not have to go outside. . . If you go shopping, take two steps is the Wynn, the past is the Lisboa, Grand Lisboa, and is the shopping street. . . . In short, in short, come Macau, will be considered here ~ ~ ~ ~But take a taxi out to be inconvenient to wait a long time.

TOP 2 – Wynn Macau

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB2191

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

convenient transportation access, shopping outlets and a casino are just downstairs. check-in and check-out are quite efficient.Spacious and comfy with 42 inch LCD TV. The hotel offers free Yongli chocolate. But it is the general attitude of the check-out. A pillow is not satisfied, a lot of pillows are soft, not a comfortable use. Also cotton is also disappointing, actually have rust.

TOP 3 – MGM Macau

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB2110

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Hotel connected to high-end shopping center, all front-line big to be able to find this. Lobby behind a glass roof garden, really flowers, very style. Although much style buffet breakfast, but wins in the delicate, quiet dining environment. But pick up the phone when the converter plug, encountered some problems, played three phone calls, and so on for half an hour before anyone used the first time when he played there, so and so, so long played second and said no, there is said to confirm again, the service perfect.

TOP 4 – Four Seasons Hotel Macao,Cotai Strip

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1866

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Service is one of the best you can find in Macau and facilities and location is perfect for those are planing to gamble in one of the close big casinos at cotai strip. this is the right place to stay. With all its hospitality and kindness of the people together with best service and off the crowd of the connected Venetian Hotel, which they called the biggest Hotel in the world at this moment, you are perfectly set. The garden area has about three or four pools, the largest one with waterfall. But a little less convenient, shopping, playing basically to the Venetian, Venetian need to walk long time, sometimes one day go back and forth several times feet sour dead. . . And a free shuttle bus terminal did not note a few points open. . .

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1865

Editor score: 4.4 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The facilities are excellent but should have a wide-variety food court instead of the current small food court which open late at 10.30 am. the hotel room is beautiful with large sofa and grand bath facility. You can go to the main tourism attractions via the hotel shuttle bus for free. But Click the doorbell is the waiter, it broke into the room, a good scary na!

TOP 6 – Grand Lisboa Macau

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1850

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Bathroom is good. This hotel has big casino to enjoy. Drink in the room is free and this is good. in second floor there is good noodle restaurant. But too many people is a bit chaotic.

TOP 7 – Sands Macao Hotel

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1628

Editor score: 4.3 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Suites are luxurious, with a wireless network, bathrooms are large enough.the surrounding environment can, a lot of entertainment facilities, it is convenient. But the room is old, and facilities in general, like the environment in general.Sound a little problem, awakened at night by music.

TOP 8 -Hotel Okura Macau

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1386

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Great swimming pool, children especially like. In the room, a large bathroom, bathtub in front of a small television, toilet flushing is the kind of heat can be. But it is the location of some partial, out trouble spots, or take the shuttle bus or taxi. Shopping items is not very rich.the toilet has no place to hang wet clothes, very inconvenient.

TOP 9 – Galaxy Hotel

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB

Editor score: (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

A very luxurious hotel, the hotel also shopping, there are children playing in the hotel beach, surfing, very good. But elevator and walkways in the extraordinary flavor of banana oil odor. Room is not small but can not find warmth. Bathroom design small gas station wash. Have to bend over to find a toothbrush cup.

very nice order in the lobby, very friendly staff, beautiful decoration, convenient location and transportation. But if you are looking for features around the hotel to eat or to go very far. . .Bus can not find the ferry terminal, it is a tragedy, the result of the bus ride over Sands. Property inspection from the outside is very old, which fortunately

TOP 1 – Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB2000

Editor score: 4.9 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

What a Comfortable and romantic hotel bed! Staff friendly! Intimate gift champagne, sugar, chocolate, fruit, afternoon snacks, evening turndown service before going to bed! Like the kind of home! Large bathroom with separate dressing room! A la carte services is delicious! I super love the hotel! But the two-cloth, easy to slide, bathtub next to no handrails, bath up is not easy.

TOP 2 – JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1880

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Great facilities and super location. The services were very good. Just near the People’s Square, easy for shopping! The hotel staff were passional and considerate enough! But it’s very unreasonable that its parking lot charges.

TOP 3 – The Peninsula Shanghai

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB 1800

Editor score: 4.9 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The quiet, privacy, good transport facilities to go out. Free airport transfers and unlimited laundry Ironing Shoe Shine, and laundry very quickly, basically three or four hours to wash. check out is very fast. There are separate locker rooms, dressing table. But most of the staffs are lack of smile, only housekeeper and bell boy say good morning with smile, poor service for F&B staff, no one welcome us, no greetings when we walked into the restaurant for breakfast and no smile at all during the whole breakfast time, very disappointed. we do expect wonderful service from such branded hotel……

TOP 4 – Pudong Shangri-la Shanghai

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB 1750

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The best buffet in the city is right here in the Shangri-La. The selection is astounding and the quality top notch, makes for an incredibly delectable experience. you can easily access the subway and get to where you want to go for cheap and relatively quick. There is a “tourist tunnel” that also takes you across the river to Puxi. the Shanghai aquarium is pretty new and nice is a 5-minute cab ride away, and there are a couple other museums right there. The only hiccup I experienced is when I quoted the advertised rate for a room on the internet and the front desk attendant did not initially want to lower the walk-in rate to the advertised rate. And the subway station is a little bit further.

TOP 5 – Grand Hyatt Shanghai

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1700

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Experience was awesome. Staffs were extraordinary. the hotel stay was a fantastic. Breakfast was fantastic. the real highlight is the bar at the top of the tower. But TV is very old, living in the room phone signal is poor, it may be too high! Check out some of the speed is slow.

TOP 6 – The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1700

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Big bathroom is very much appreciated, LCD TV and DVD made it all to easy to stay in at night.Had a very good cheap breakfast at the Element Fresh in Shanghai Center and there is a great French bakery/cafe Paul with some of the finest French pastries I’ve had outside of Paris.staying in a hotel parking fee to charge 30 per hour, a little can not accept, the car stopped for four hours, and received 120, the car will move about the money, many other five-star Shanghai hotel parking are free.

TOP 7 – The PuLi Hotel and Spa

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1680

Editor score: 4.8 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

the surroundings were peaceful，and outside is the bustling city downtown area. the hotel boasts a complete range of facilities, also it offers coffee machines and free mini-bar (including 8 free bottled water). this hotel offers excellent spa services. But there aren’t many shops around, not very convenient.

TOP 8 – Andaz Shanghai

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1660

Editor score: 4.8 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Good location, good decor, good service! The room is so nice. I will back again!! But breakfast is good but not great!!

TOP 9 – Fairmont Peace Hotel

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB 1530

Editor score: 4.7 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

The hotel is conveniently located right on the Bund near Nanjing East/West Road, near shopping, restaurants. the heart of Shanghai. The hotel has been newly renovated.the restaurants are overpriced. But they charge over RMB300 for breakfast, a RMB150 entrance fee for the Jazz Bar, and more for high tea. they won’t let you take photos in the hotel lobby.

TOP 10 – Hyatt on the Bund

Editor rate (per night) : From RMB1400

Editor score: 4.5 (1 is the worst, 5 is the best)

Wonderful view on the river,Great rooms with a nice view and super friendly staff. At night great light show of the city. Very comfortable . Breakfast buffet excellent with Chinese, Japanese and Western food. Roof top bar with an outside terrace is a real hot spot. But there is no subway station close.
